Obituary

Jared D. Crutchfield, of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the age of 10. Jared was the beloved son of Kelvin Crutchfield and Brandi Ross; cherished brother of Crystal Mohan, Jacob Mohan, Jazmin Crutchfield, and Savannah Crutchfield; loving grandson of Susan Mohan; caring nephew of Amanda White (Akil) and Eddie Ross (Janice). Also surviving are many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Jared Demar Crutchfield, was born September 12, 2010. From the beginning Jared was a calm and happy baby. He was the perfect baby. Growing into a toddler with that same pleasantness, he was an absolute joy to be around. Jared was silly, always making people laugh with these goofy faces he made, just to bring a smile to your face. He grew into this amazing boy, the boy we all know and loved. Jared was special, he greeted everyone with the most genuine smile and pleasant hello. It didn't matter if he knew you or not, his smile always made you feel welcomed. He was such a helpful boy, asking on holidays if you needed help with anything, selfless, while all the other kids were playing. Jared loved his video games; they were his favorite. He would play Fortnite, laughing and hollering with his friends online for hours. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He always wanted to be with his siblings and cousins, they never get tired of each other's company, they were inseparable. He loved going on hikes, playing tag, bouncing around at Skyzone, but his absolute favorite was spending his day on the beach. He loved to sing, he was always humming or singing his favorite songs, knowing every word.

Jared was a great kid, charismatic, pleasant, caring. He had the biggest heart. His calm and joyful demeanor drew you right to him. Jared was loved by so many people and will be missed every single day.
