DAVINA NICOLE JONES, affectionately known as, Dida and Yam, was born on February 10, 1975 to Dorothea and the late David A. Waters, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and attended Hamilton and Bryant Elementary, Beeber Middle School and Roxborough High School. Davina was a kind hearted and friendly person who loved and cared about everyone she knew. "Our Mother loved to have a good time"; she would always say "you are boring, let's go out to eat, or to a movie." She liked to look good and always wanted Chantel, her oldest daughter to do her hair. She loved to buy herself new sneakers. She always cracked jokes on people to make them laugh and just to have fun. Davina was a hard worker. She worked for Wells Fargo Center for 11 years, and recently was hired at Citizens Bank Park. She was preceded in death by her father David A. Waters; grandmothers, Ruby Felder and Constance B. Jones; grandfathers, Robert Waters and Jessie Jones; and her grandson, Davion. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother: Dorothea, Brothers David (Screamie) & David, Sister Danita, Daughters: Chantel, Daquana, Nivea, her son, Charlie; grandchildren, Dante, Quamir, Dylan, Cheyanne, Khalil (Peanut), Kyrie, Zacara, and Khaza; a host of other relatives and friends.
